I am a Hybrid Brand and UX Design Leader based in the San Francisco Bay Area.
I studied Communication Design in New York City, where I built a strong foundation in visual communication and problem solving. My career began in New York, working with small businesses and nonprofit organizations. These early roles taught me that effective design must balance visual appeal with business objectives, budget realities, and the needs of specific target audiences.
After relocating to California, I continued freelancing, including work with Stanford University, before joining Alibaba.com as one of the first 30 employees in the United States. Working within the marketing organization allowed me to integrate brand, user experience, and marketing strategy from the beginning. What started as a design role gradually expanded into broader leadership across brand development, digital experience, content platforms, and growth initiatives.
Over more than 15 years, I helped establish the foundation of Alibaba.com’s brand presence in the United States and supported global markets across the Americas, Europe, and Asia Pacific. I contributed to building brand guidelines, developing creative processes, launching content platforms, and designing digital experiences that scaled with the business.
Throughout my career, I have led website transformations that increased traffic and sales, built seller platforms that contributed to sustained revenue growth, and launched content experiences that significantly improved engagement. These results reflect a consistent focus on aligning design decisions with measurable business outcomes.
